We promote projects that enhance the urban environment and enrich the lives of residents while contributing to a more diverse economy. For example:
Greening the city with native trees and plants
Protecting our city against wildfires
Improving natural stormwater drainage
Building trails, sidewalks and bike lanes to encourage active transportation
Retrofitting buildings for greater energy and water efficiency
We accomplish this by partnering with community members, organizations and governments.
